“Notte prima degli esami 40th anniversary – 2025 edition”: Antonello Venditti stops in Pompeii on July 12th

The tour “Notte prima degli esami 40th anniversary – 2025 edition” by Antonello Venditti is almost here, and on Saturday 12 July it will stop in Campania , at the Amphitheatre of the Pompeii Excavations . An event to celebrate 40 years of “Cuore” , the manifesto-album published in 1984, which contained the famous “Notte prima degli esami”, which has become a generational soundtrack for millions of Italians.

The tour, produced by Friends&Partners , will officially start on June 17th in Rome , “the night before the final exams”, with three sold out dates at the Terme di Caracalla (June 17th, 19th and 21st), confirming once again the deep bond between Venditti and his city. After Rome, a long summer of concerts will cross the whole of Italy, bringing with it a timeless repertoire and the emotional charge that only Venditti can give.

Among the most anticipated stages, the one in Campania on July 12th is part of Beats of Pompeii , a musical festival set in one of the symbolic places of Mediterranean history and art. It will be a unique opportunity to listen live to masterpieces such as Ci vuole un amico , Giulia , Notte prima degli esami , Ricordati di me , In questo mondo di ladri and many other iconic songs, in a location with timeless charm.

The tour celebrates not only an anniversary, but also a very rich career: Antonello Venditti , born in Rome in 1949, has spanned over fifty years of Italian history with his songs, selling almost 40 million records . In 2024 he also published “Fuori fuoco” (Rizzoli Illustrati), an autobiographical book that retraces his life through images and words. Also in 2024, the unreleased “ Di' Una Parola ” was released, included in the new remastered edition of Cuore .

In the 2025 tour, Venditti will also bring to the stage the symbolic value of his songs, always full of commitment, emotion and identity, speaking to the hearts of several generations.
